Subtraction the "Show Me" Way-We used a new app today!

We have been working on different ways to subtract. Click on the 2 links below to see how your child is learning how to subtract using the method of grouping 10's and ones.

**PLEASE remember this is just one strategy. The students can use other methods, i.e. 17-3   :17-16-15-14. I am pushing the use of their number line as well! :)

Today we talked about our New Year's Resolutions! They had a blast using our new whiteboard table!!

All Kinds of Math

Tangram fun! I heard so many say, "Mrs. Ring, I can't do it", but of course they could!! They had a blast with the tangrams this day!

We also discussed properties of solids!

I hope everyone has a fantastic break! Over the next 2 weeks I will be posting lots of pictures that I have taken over the last couple weeks! For now, I'm going to post a couple of our Winter party pictures! Thank you to all the room moms that made a great party! The kids had so much fun!

To my little ones, I want you to know that I love all of you and even though I will enjoy spending time with my two boys I will miss you guys dearly! Enjoy spending time with your families and please remember what we talked about on Friday (say...thank you)! Also, it's not about the gifts you get, it's about spending time with your family who loves you!!!
