The Learning Lab pilot program is a 2-3 week opportunity in which the kids will utilize individual technology tools throughout their school day to engage in learning. The program is intended to explore how children can enhance their learning through the use of technology. The students will be working towards the same learning objectives, but may go about the process in a different learning manner.
I will be sending home a parent permission "form" with all the details about this AWESOME opportunity. The kids and I are super excited.

When I found out last night that we were accepted I made this video to show the kids today! It was hilarious to watch all of their faces! Students were reading what I wrote and not really comprehending it and then all of a sudden it set in and they all went crazy! :) Enjoy!
The day you found out about the iPads, Owen totally forgot to tell us and later that evening after we put him to bed he came downstairs and said "I have to tell you something." I thought maybe something happened or he got sick but no, it was that he was going to get his own iPad for a month (I think he may have been too excited to sleep). That is so exciting for both you and the kids, Congrats :)
