iPad Shuffle!

Today we talked about collaboration and working together while using the iPads! We used the app ArtStudio! I gave the kids about 10 minutes to "explore" the app. It was amazing to watch them share "tricks" and ideas by mirroring up (having their ipad screen show up on the board) for all to see. I then told the kids that they would be making a picture today, but that all their friends at their table group would help!

Each child started to draw their picture on their own iPad. I turned on music and then said "iPad Shuffle"! They stopped drawing and then handed their iPad to the right. We did this until each student got their own iPad back! They loved working together to create a picture! :) I wish I would have taped the process in the brushes app because it was so cool to see the picture change!

When they were done we did the following: Warning: Yes, each 1st grader was able to do this!!!

1. Save as jpeg
2. Export to camera roll
3. Email their picture to me
4. Upload their picture to their Kidblog account!!!

Yes, I know.....AMAZING!!!! You can see the group photos below! :)
