iPads, iPads, iPads!!

What a day! The kids were surprised this morning by the delivery of our classroom set of ipads! I have never seen them so focused to get through all of our testing that we do on Fridays! My goal this weekend is to give you some quick overviews of the apps that are on the kids ipads! Although, you kids might be able to tell you more at this point! :)

I gave the kids time to "explore" today for about 30 minutes! I had kids all over the place: Creating music and songs in GarageBand, using Large Text to retell our story for this week, POW-comic strip, Whiteboard, Educreations and Explain Everything! Just so much for them to look at! We also took pictures of ourselves and made them our home screen...they LOVED this part! They learned how to "mirror" (make their screen show up the projector) and so much more.

I also made a quick little movie trailer as the kids were exploring! They were super excited to see this and I hope you like it! :)

Please check back for the next 3 weeks as I will be posting a lot of information in regards to what is going on in the classroom! Your child should be able to show you as well since they will have our website sitting on their ipad like an app! :)

***If you want your child to access to your internet access you will need to connect them to your server at home: 1) Settings 2) Wifi (2nd line down) 3) Choose a Network (find your wifi name) and enter your password

Thanks for all your support during this really exciting time!

Mrs. Ring
